I really don’t mean to look so serious here but it’s only my 4th attempt with this technique and first with these Piñata Inks I recently purchased and lovingly hand carried back from the UK. You do have to work quite quickly with these inks as they move around the paper and the inks do not exactly go where you want them — a lot of that is luck.
The blend of colours is really pretty but as you see I have blown the inks around through a straw which actually creates these ‘imperfections’ in the colours from the water in my saliva. But as you know I like imperfections. I used only the hairdryer on a couple of my other ink paintings and that leaves a ‘cleaner’ spread of ink on the paper……
