Blusha

Mixed Media on 300gsm watercolour paper.

This is my beautiful darling sister. She has been my artistic muse on several occasions and whenever I want to try another experimental method I pull out a good photo of Blusha. Don’t ask me why I’ve glued medical gauze !!…… it was just lying around and I wanted to add something light and textural to the background.   The colour scheme is a continuation of the blouse she was then wearing and the use of gold leaf is because she is precious to me.
