Dioxazine Dawn

Dioxazine Dawn

Probably my favourite artwork I have ever produced this piece was a continuum of Indigo Dawn. I wanted to go bigger and better yet still depicting the essence of tree silhouettes against a morning sunrise.  But this time the main foreground tree is in it’s latter years watching over it’s offspring and also physically ‘touching’ it’s partner tree.

This artwork took around 75 hours to complete and is highlighted with pearlescent oil paint which catches the light from certain angles.
