Instead of spending this rainy Sunday painting and writing my book I have been stuck in my garage staring at the computer screen looking at properties. But I will not be intimitated or get overwhelmed. There is a light at end of this tunnel. After looking through nearly 300 properties I have saved around 75 to watchlist.

One to go and see tomorrow at 10am which is probably my next favourite after the one in Avondale Gardens we saw together last week. I also have to scan the property file and all the paperwork associated with it. At least I got my portrait commission finished this weekend.

Short term plan is to place a bid – conditional of course – on this  brick and tile cuty and bank the profits of the sale of our property here to give me a buffer of an income while I finish my book, get a regular part-time job to help with the bills and wait for the council to finalise plan for the new ice rink next to Snowplanet. Time frame, roughly 2 years. Sounds simple right ? We both know life is never that simple. At least Ben McKee of Imagine Dragons save my pin of him on Pinterest. He liked it on Instagram a few years back as well. OMG what I did give to watch them perform again. Come back to NZ boys – please–!!! –I SO need something to look forward to.

I was so far away to get any real good footage of Pink’s concert but our seats for Imagine Dragons were brilliant and they came out to the island further into the audience to perform a couple of tracks and Nush and I loved that. They are true musical magicians and introduced many of their tracks unlike the way they get played on the radio, with different musical intonations which made the concert even more interesting. I know nearly every word of their work so the experience felt even more euphoric. I took copies of each of their portraits to backstage and waited for ages to get a possible glimpse of the boys but it was  their manager who came out to collect them and promised to pass them on the band in person. Let’s hope he did.

Anyway — here is Ben Mckee again for you my darlings —- if you’re single and searching sweetie I’ll be divorced in 2 years LOL !! — ha !! you think I’m joking ??? —
