One of my many ‘doodles’ that I do at night or when I need to relax.

Long before the days of adult colouring books I knew that just scribbling, colouring or even doodling makes that vital connection between the hands and brain matter. Crafts like knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, fine art etc all involve fine motor skills which have been researched to considerable extent and now proves that involving yourself in ‘fine motor skills’ keep the brain more active later into life. My father was a neurosurgeon and completely concurs on this theory. So get colouring and doodling folks !!

Sometimes it’s hard to know when to stop — doodle time so far – about 6 hrs.
