Done with coloured pencil , acrylics and markers. Highlighted with metallic markers and pens this detailed drawing of Lorde was inspired by a Korean artist called Minja Lee. He does beautiful stylised and heavily detailed works of women and just gorgeous faces. Again this showed my urge to ‘doodle’ into Lorde’s  hair with many several varieties of mark making…..shading, dotting, scribbling and dissecting certain areas. It’s a complete opposite style to the one I did of her some years ago which was very loose and unpremeditated. Duration of the work was probably around 8 hrs.
